How To Use My Medical Insurance

All our physiotherapists are authorised to treat with the major medical insurer providers in the UK. We will be able to bill your insurer directly for your physiotherapy treatment.

If you wish to use your private medical insurance to pay for your treatment, it is important that you have informed them prior to commencing. You will often be given a pre-authorisation number. Failure to obtain this may result in you becoming liable for charges incurred.

Every insurance company is different and you may have to request us specifically in some cases. Below you can see how for each. If your insurance company isn’t shown, we are likely still covered – please contact us to discuss.

You can still book your initial physiotherapy appointment online. On your initial assessment, we will take the pre-authorisation number alongside your policy number.

BUPA

You will be able to obtain a preauthorisation number from BUPA which is usually 8 digits and select DP Sports Performance & Injury Clinic from their approved list. If struggling to find us, use our provider number below. We will be able to charge directly to BUPA using this and your policy number.

You will be able to obtain a preauthorisation number from AXA PPP. We will be able to charge directly to AXA using this and your policy number. To select us you may need to give our provider numbers as AXA approves clinicians as opposed to clincs.

Vitality Health

You will be able to obtain a preauthorisation number from Vitality, which we can use to charge directly for your treatment. Use our provider numbers below to select us. On some policies, Vitality may wish to send you to secondary companies such as IPRS & Speed Medical before being referred for physio. Unfortunately we cannot accept referrals from IPRS or Speed Medical, but if you would still like to see us, you are able to self pay and part-reclaim the cost from Vitality.

Simply Health

Simply health offer a pay and reclaim scheme. Book in as normal for a self pay physiotherapy session and we will provide a paid invoice after your treatment to reclaim the cost of your session.

Healix Health Services

You can obtain a preauthorisation number from Healix which we can use to charge directly for your sessions. Use our provider numbers to help specify us for your course of physiotherapy.

Nuffield Health

Unfortunately, we cannot charge Nuffield Heallth directly for physiotherapy. This is due to other Nuffield clinics in close proximity. If you would like to use us for your physiotherapy treatment, you may be able to pay for your session and reclaim the cost from Nuffield. Please discuss this with Nuffield Health.
